The Datasite's modular plugin architecture means that we can easily add new features that build on the existing capabilities of the Datasite. These are made available as options to users for an additional monthly fee. If you have ideas for additional plugins, please submit them using the form located at the bottom of this page, or contact us directly at support@netcera.com.
We can also custom-design plugins for clients, which greatly lowers the cost of development for most Web applications. These applications can be proprietary, for your use only, or if you are willing and they would be appropriate for general users we can develop them at a reduced cost. If it can be programmed for the Web, it is almost certain that we can create it using the existing Datasite as a development platform.
Shopping Cart - This plugin combines with the Arrays Module to create e-commerce shopping carts. The system allows complete flexibility in layout, charges (shipping/handling, etc), and functions (post data to the database, submit to online merchant gateway, etc.) Because of it's integration with the existing modules, you can integrate shopping carts into your current catalog and user management, or use the RE search function to display only the applicable options when someone selects an item (we use this to display only appropriate options when someone selects a certain hosting plan), or display a "related items" list when someone selects an item for purchase.
Plugin Dependencies: None
Requirements: Existing authentication system (signup, login, password reminder forms and group, appropriate password protected page for signup) and item Array (can be single item).
Users & Groups Management - Brings user and group management out of the Datasite and into your website. You can define any user as an admin for any group(s), and then they can manage users. Users can be removed from a group, disabled indefinitely, or set as an administrator.
Plugin Dependencies: Can be used by itself, or along with any or all of the forms data plugins and Groups Membership Control plugin.
Requirements: Existing authentication system (signup, login, password reminder forms and group, appropriate password protected page for signup).
Groups Membership - Create buttons or links that your members can use to sign up or off of a group.
Plugin Dependencies: Can be used by itself or with the Users & Groups Management Control plugin.
Requirements: Existing authentication system (signup, login, password reminder forms and group, appropriate password protected page for signup).
Forms Data Management - Allows users to create form elements, including text, images, and uploaded files. Includes all editing controls for users - add new record, edit record, delete record, delete all records, upload image or file, delete image or file, view current object. Also, records can be set to not display an empty image or file if no image/file was uploaded.
Plugin Dependencies: Can be used by itself, usually used with the Forms Data View Control to display the created records.
Requirements: Existing authentication system (signup, login, password reminder forms and group, appropriate password protected page for signup).
Forms Data View - Displays data within a page in the new Arrays Module. This was originally built into the RE Module, but now allows you to display form data, as well.
Plugin Dependencies: None
Requirements: An Array with content.
Forms Data Administration - Allows administrators to manage form records created by users with the Forms Data Management Control - includes viewing by status (all changed records, created records, updated records, deleted records, and all records), and each record can be edited, deleted, approved, or rolled back to the previous state.
Plugin Dependencies: Used with the Forms Data Management Control plugin, and optionally the Forms Data View Control plugin.
Requirements: Existing authentication system (signup, login, password reminder forms and group, appropriate password protected page for signup).
Forms Data Search - This is a powerful search function for any Arrays Module data (forms or Publishable Arrays). Site visitors can enter searches in a form, or the designer may set up predefined "embedded" searches (for example, you could place an Array tag that only displayed a subset of all data), or links that include search arguments. You may search any or all fields by keyword, by fields in an authenticated user's information, or by a constant. Plugin Dependencies: Data View plugin.
Requirements: An Array with data.
Chart View - Allows placement of three types of graphs on Datasite pages - bar, pie and x/y plots. Graphs are "three dimensional" GIF images. Data for the graph is drawn from designated Array fields. Each chart setup is linked to a particular Array's data and can have unlimited layouts. In each layout, you may set the type of chart, the width, height, the field that is the source for the primary axis (and secondary axis for x/y charts), title, background image, data color, background plot color, background margin color, the lower limit (all categories below this will display as "Other"), and can include standard image attributes such as alignment and border.
Plugin Dependencies: None, but can be used along with the Search plugin to display selected data.
Requirements: An Array with data.
By using various combinations of the users/groups and forms plugins, you can create online communities, calendars that users can submit to, a classified ad system, an appointment system, a collaboration system, a guestbook, a comment system for displayed items, a poll with real-time graphical results, etc.
