It takes about 15-30 minutes for a Web designer to learn how to set up a basic content management system in the Datasite -- create HTML page templates as usual in an HTML editor like Dreamweaver or FrontPage, then simply place Datasite tags where content will be inserted (in either layout or code view), use the Datasite's link tags for all links, and then load the HTML templates into the Datasite and add pages.

It is similarly easy to set up forms that submit to a database, send emails, and sign up users; to create sophisticated authentication systems; and to set up and populate data arrays and create layouts for displaying data. These are some of the building blocks of Web applications in the Datasite. All that is required in a designer is a basic knowledge of HTML and web design skills, and a knowledge of how to use the Datasite's modules.
